Annual Young Explorers Schools Carnival

It’s Carnival time! We will be drumming up enthusiasm and of course the children will be telling you all about it. Our 25th Annual Young Explorers Schools Carnival will be Friday, July 30 at 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at our 6207 E. Bellevue School. I know our families who have been with us for a while know what I mean. To our new families, this is a “a real big deal!” This evening beats the playground at the local McDonald’s. The evening will be a fun packed safe evening. So plan now to join us. We will have our traditional hot dogs and pizza slices. The funds raised will be shared by both schools to buy something special for our classes and your children.

PRE-CARNIVAL TICKET PACKETS
To avoid long lines at the gate, we would encourage you to purchase the admission tickets during the pre-sale time. Admission tickets purchased before the carnival will save you some money. We will have tickets going on sale all day starting, Wednesday, July 28th through Friday, July 30 until noon. No sales after noon since we will be with children and setting up the school grounds for the special events. There will be free games but the Jumping Castle, a Train ride, food, and drinks will sell for 20 cents a ticket. You will receive a list of games and prices later. If you purchase your tickets early you will have more time to play.

DID WE HEAR, “HOW CAN I HELP?” YES! YOU CAN AND HERE’S HOW:

Help sell carnival admission tickets
Volunteer to help at one of the food and game booths
Be on the set up or clean up crews
Bring friends and neighbors

WE WILL CLOSE BOTH SCHOOLS AT 5:30 P.M. ON CARNIVAL DAY. THIS WILL PERMIT THE STAFF FROM BOTH SCHOOLS TIME TO GET THEIR PLACES FOR THE CARNIVAL. ANY CHILD HERE AFTER 5:30 P.M. WILL BE CHARGED A LATE PICK UP FEE.
