Fun Times at Young Explorers Schools

Friday, January 25th, 2013

Fall season brings many exciting learning experiences for children at both Young Explorers Schools.

In October especially for Halloween our pumpkins become a great resource for cooking and baking activities. First they are changed into jack-o-lanterns. Next they become pumpkin pulp. Children get to “smush” the cook pumpkin, make puree and finally bake delicious pumpkin bread that is frozen to be served at our feasts.

Young Explorers Schools Celebrates 43rd Birthday

Sunday, January 20th, 2013

Young Explorers Schools is celebrating 43 years in early childhood education.  The joy of being here in Tucson serving families and children for long is that we are now getting children of our former students coming back as parents.  Our program have had to make many changes during the years. We added the DES child care assistance program, CACFP food program, serving breakfast, lunch and p.m. snack,  Quality First Program and now an Infant Class at our Avenida Sirio School. All these services has enhanced our opportunities to serve many diverse families and their needs.  YES! is locally and family owned.  We still offer a free courtesy day after touring our schools and at the present time our free family registration.  We encourage everyone to check us out!
